my poor attempt on drawing anime

Just last week my topic was 'learn to draw'...

so.. i had to write about 'how to draw anime... rabbits, dragons, dogs, and a lot of other stuff.

haha. i couldn't help myself from drawing as i was researching for the topics.

here are my first few attempts on drawing anime/manga or whatever you prefer to call it...




heheh it's been ages since last try ko mag draw haha. musta naman!
in fairness, ballpen yan.. no sketches no pencils. no erasures wahahha. at wlang pinag gayahan!

obvious ba pink pa yung yellowpad hahaha. :P

i tried drawing a dragon... too bad nagmukhang butiki with a pug's nose. kaya i'd rather not post it hehehe.

how about a penguin for a bodyguard?

do you like penguins? well, i do. thinking about happyfeet dancing makes me go awwww.. I actually have this thing for penguins and pandas. (yes, i like my babies black and white).

anyway, i came upon this interesting news on yahoo..

there's this penguin named Nils Olav and now he is a knight!

haha. no, this ain't fiction. It's for real.

Nils is actually the 'mascot' of the Norweigian King's Guard. He has had several positions already and just recently he was given knighthood. Coolness.

Visual Talking, When Words Are Not Enough

I came upon this site in which they were trying to promote a new way of talking, which is visual talking. When I was browsing, I suddenly remembered our Audio Class last sem. I think there's this therapy approach that we can use in managing severely hearing impaired individuals (I just forgot about the name though) where we would use pictures if they really can't communicate anymore.

this is my first experience of losing a pet that has been very close to me thru death.
